Flags

I want to start something but I don't know how. I want to set up a non Profit that will give, for free, an American Flag and basic house mounting to any one who is willing to commit to flying it on national holidays and designated "Flag Days". I have talked to too many people who say they would fly the flag if they had one but this month they have to buy this or that (or in our current economy, buy gas). All of their reasons for not _buying_ a flag are very very real. So I want to give it to them. I am thinking I need a web domain www.fly-old-glory.org I want to start soon. I want people to be proud of the country we live in and be able to show it.

My basic plan is to start here in Tarrant County Texas. It's where I live and aas good a place to start as any. I know I can't start by promising every body every where a flag but maybe here and spread ...

I am going to start by contacting some flag companies and seeing if they would be willing to donate a couple of cases to the cause for free advertising on the website, then I have to figure out how to find the money for the domain and find funding for shipping.

I hope I can do this .. I really do.
