Democrats and Skeksis

More and more watching the Democrat primary race I am reminded of the Skeksis in Henson's "The Dark Crystal" Just before the Chamberlain and the Garthim Master beat the hell out of a rock to see who would be emporer, you saw all the posturing and back biting and nastiness of those they surrounded themselves with. then they had a purposeless contest to see which would have the chance to hold an empty title that by the end of the movie meant absolutely nothing, Yup this has the Democrat Primary illustrated pretty well.
