I think I just figured out the base root of my position on climate change and why both my Liberal and Conservative friends get so exasperated with me! At least on this subject.

Climate change is happening and I don't give a rats ass why.

I don't see reversing natural effects as plausible and Mom Nature can kick humanities collective ass into the file 13 any time she pleases.

I also do not see lots of 1st world restrictive laws on industry and commerce as useful as emerging economy nations are perfectly willing to say "F*ck the whole idea, we have cheap labor and don't know where Kyoto is!" No matter how many laws or initiatives our country makes business is still business and we still like our concrete roads and $5 t-shirts. There is no world enforcement (and I beginning think the UN has become useless and possibly even dangerous in their own swirling mass of "he said she said")

So I figure the climate is changing I really don't care who is to blame cause that _isn't_ changing.

Now lets look at survival....
