Odd Day for a Brat

I have been having an odd day .. first I get an e-mail add about a documentary about the lives of military brats. Pretty cool actually, theres allot here I relate to especially the part of trying to answer the question "where are you from?"

any way later in the day as I was looking at the news I see a posting by the New York Times (liberal commies that they are) questioning weather or not McCain can legally run for president since he was born in the Panama Canal zone to US citizens. Rather than within the borders of the US (both his father and grandfather were US Navy Admirals)

This aggravates me as I come from a military family and I was born on a Naval Base in Taipei Taiwan. My Father was in the Army. My Brother was IN the Army, I was in the Navy. There is a long tradition in my family of Military service and these dip s**ts have the gall to even consider saying that I am not a "natural born citizen"??!! Let alone a Man who is a graduate of the Naval Academy a former POW who upon his return still managed to overcome disability regain his flight status and gain the rank of a full bird captain in the Navy????

I joke about it now but the most pissed of I have ever been is when I went to replace my SS card because it got destroyed and had the clerk ask me for my freaking INS card without even bothering to look up or look at the US consulate record of Birth I handed her with the Application.

Sigh guess it's just an odd day for an Army Brat.
